Good Asian Drivers

Here’s my letter:

Dear Seventeen,

I found this article to be highly insensitive to the transgender community.
As a trans person I felt portrayed as deceptive and as a liar and given that we are highly underrepresented in the media, this sends a message out there to people that transgender people are all deceptive and trick people into relationships.
There is enough media out there that does this, why would you perpetuate this?
You have a responsibility to your young readers to educate and inform and you should think before you publish.

I would like to see an apology and a follow up article with sensible information and facts about trans people.
