Good Asian Drivers

On my way to Minnesota, my guitar did not fit in the overhead compartment. The lady MADE me check it in. The guitar was not in a hard case. I was tremendously sad. But thankfully, nothing happened to it. 

The last time we had some decent vegan pizza prior to the amazing dinner at the University of Minnesota was at the University of Vermont. You may have seen us stuffing our faces in this video. In any case, we were at the Q chilling with the folks there, eating pizzas, and drinking beer from the local brewery. Good times.

We had an intimate show with a good crowd on the West Bank. We asked if anyone’s ever been to the Pi Bar and nearly everyone’s hand shot up. We know where queer folks like to hang out, I guess. Shannon Blowtorch who DJs and runs the show over there actually emailed us and offered her house if we needed a place to stay. I’m excited that she remembered us - and kept track of us to know we’re in town - since she is the nicest and most badass person we’ve ever met. 

Back to the show. Almost everyone there at the University of Minnesota came to talk to us after the show. We’re so grateful that the folks bought merch to show their support for queer artists of color, and for those who couldn’t buy merch, we’re grateful that they signed up on our mailing list. Ya’ll are the people who keep us truckin’.
